In august 1966, my
grand-father fall in love with this nice secondhand at first
sight, a sky-blue de luxe beetle with a rectangular rear window
and a metallic roof rack. It certainly dates from between july 1960 (appearance of indicators on the wings of european models) and july 1961 (appearance of indicators integrated in the rear lights). My father bought it back in 1967, and he resold it to his friend Françat St Louis de Monferrand in 1969. |
