At the end of 1965,
my father, then a student in psychology, bought this abandonned
split from a student in sciences in the university town of Talence
near Bordeaux. This student must have bought it from a military
aviator.
The gearbox was a mess, and he changed it himself with the help
of a friend!
The color was originally a faded pale green, and he get it painted
in gloss black.
We can precisely date it from between october 1952 and march
1953 thanks to the deflectors and the front oval grids.
He sold it in 1967 in Bordeaux. |

In august 2000
my father found this 1953
split during a journey in Ireland. |
